SC-206 identifies AIS (Aeronautical Information Services) and MET (Meteorological) data link services for implementation in the next decade. They have published and continue to update standards related to automated meteorological transmission (AUTOMET), aeronautical information, and meteorological data link services. The group is addressing numerous areas of meteorological safety concerns.
