Environmental Conditions and Test Procedures for Airborne Equipment

The original DO-160 standard was published in 1975 to provide standard test methods which would ensure new aviation equipment would function appropriately in the multiple environmental and EMI conditions found on aircraft.  The current version is DO-160G, published in 2010 and is referenced for use by FAA’s Advisory Circular AC 21-16G as well as other regulatory authorities around the world.
