Tom Ferrell
Tom Ferrell currently leads the Software Engineering (Interim role), Development Assurance, and Engineering Services departments at Joby. In these roles, Tom is largely responsible for all aspects of Joby’s DO-178C and DO-254 compliance as well as much of Joby’s engineering processes. Tom has previously help positions at Boeing, SAIC, Iridium, and prior to joining Joby, ran a successful aviation consulting firm for twenty years. Tom is both an FAA Designated Engineering Representative (DER) and an EASA Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE).
