July 1- SC-217 (w/EUROCAE WG-44), Aeronautical Databases, met at EUROCONTROL in plenary after holding 4 days of working meetings. SC-217 continues to refine the change proposals for the forthcoming DO-200C and DO-201C.

July 13 – SC-222 Aeronautic Mobile Satellite (Route) Services (AMS(R)S) (w/EUROCAE WG-82), met virtually to complete FRAC/OC comment resolution on DO-262F/ED-243C Change 1 to assist with certification for some companies. They are scheduled to present at the September PMC meeting for publication approval.

July 15 – SC-186, Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B), met virtually to hear updates from the SC-186 working groups.

July 19-21 – SC-230 Airborne Weather Detection Systems, met in plenary at Garmin (near Kansas City, MO) to continue work on including requirements for detection of high-altitude ice water condition in DO-220A.

July 18 & 22 – SC-214 (w/ EUROCAE WG-92), Standards for Air Traffic Data Communication Services, met at EUROCAE in Saint Denis, France in joint plenary (also in coordination with the AEEC DLK Systems Subcommittee) to continue work on DO-224E and DO-281D.

July 21 – SC-228, MOPS for Unmanned Systems, met at RTCA to resolve FRAC comments for several documents from the SC-228 working groups. They will present these documents at the September PMC for publication approval.

July 26 – SC-224, Airport Security Access Control Systems met virtually to approve release of DO-230L for FRAC with publication scheduled for late 2022.

July 28 – SC-235, Non-Rechargeable Lithium Batteries, met in virtual plenary to work on the release of DO-227B with expected publication early next year.
