RTCA Continues its Support for Aviation Standards Through the COVID-19 Crisis

March 19, 2020

To: RTCA Members, Government/Industry Partners, and Friends

We understand the growing concern surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19) across our communities, and our hearts go out to all those who have been impacted. At RTCA, our top priority is your safety and well-being, along with that of our staff.

This situation continues to evolve quickly, and we will be monitoring it closely. We will continue to provide support to our Special Committees. However, effective immediately, the RTCA staff will be working remotely through the end of March and will not be hosting any face-to-face meetings in our Washington, DC offices. In addition, we are encouraging all special committees to either postpone the planned dates of their upcoming meetings or plan to conduct those meetings virtually. RTCA will work with the Special Committees' leadership to moderate virtual meetings and modify any agenda items to maximize the value of those discussions.

We will continue to refer to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization and other public health agencies to determine the safest course of action as things progress. For more information about COVID-19, please visit the CDC website at www.cdc.gov/coronavirus.

At RTCA, we remain committed to the safety, security, and sustainability of the aviation ecosystem. It is our honor and privilege to serve you, particularly during these challenging times.
